Brenda Lee Sherwood is a first generation auctioneer. As a child she loved attending the cattle auction and listening to the chant of the auctioneer. After a successful career as an Insurance Agent, she took the opportunity to follow her childhood dream and become an auctioneer. After being mentored by a dear friend, she attended The Worldwide College of Auctioneering, Professional Ringman Institute and became a Benefit Auctioneer Specialist and continues to be a member of the National Association of Auctioneers.

 

Brenda has had a humanitarian heart her entire life. She is dedicated and determined to maximize each opportunity to partner with a nonprofit to maximize fundraising goals and set records.  She has had the great privilege of working with many nonprofits, in every capacity from volunteer, fundraising consultant, board member, emcee and her favorite -auctioneer.  She has an understanding of all that goes into creating a successful event. Brenda has a way of reading her audience, rather it be an audience of one or hundreds, she very eloquently engages donors and creates a fun, giving atmosphere. Brenda has great energy, is comfortable behind the mic and enjoys entertaining a crowd while keeping in mind the relationship between donor and organization. When speaking, Brenda has a powerful way of connecting with listeners, she is a natural storyteller at heart and not afraid to add some appropriate humor.  

 

In Brenda's free time she sells Real Estate and spends time with her sister, her mom, her 3 sons, 2 daughters in law and 6 grandkids.
